2026 Baby Clothing Testing
Submitted baby clothing received an overall PASS conclusion for the requirements included in the laboratory report.

Additional Heavy-Metal Testing
Testing of another baby product included a broader soluble heavy-element panel. The tested components received passing results, with the following elements reported as not detected at the laboratory’s detection limits:
Lead • Antimony • Arsenic • Barium • Cadmium • Chromium • Mercury • Selenium
SGS Cotton / Material Testing
We have also had material testing performed by SGS. One tested material was a cotton/acrylic blend that used cotton from our cotton supply. Although we do not currently carry Certified Organic labels on our clothing, SGS testing found no detectable pesticide residues among the substances tested.
This is encouraging supporting information about the tested material, but pesticide-residue testing alone is not the same as GOTS, OCS, or another organic certification.
Upstream Cotton Yarn Certification
The qualifying raw, undyed cotton yarn used upstream by several of our primary colored-yarn suppliers is documented under OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, Product Class I certification. Product Class I is intended for articles for babies and young children.
The certificate applies to qualifying raw/undyed yarn. Because independent companies subsequently dye and finish the yarn, we do not represent the finished colored yarn or finished garments as OEKO-TEX certified solely on the basis of this upstream certificate.
What We Are Expanding Next
We are continuing to expand our material testing and supplier documentation, with particular attention to finished colored yarn, dyeing and finishing processes, and certified organic cotton for future collections.
Important transparency note: Not every product is tested for every substance. Laboratory results apply to the specific samples, components and substances included in each report. “Not detected” means the substance was not detected at or above that laboratory method’s reporting/detection limit; it does not mean an absolute zero concentration.
